Welcome to The Hobbit Home, a charming retreat nestled in the serene beauty of Son Gaon. This enchanting cottage offers a unique escape, perfectly situated near the breathtaking Karkotaka Trek route.



Come experience the magic of nature, the charm of the cottage, and the adventure that awaits at The Hobbit Home!

The space
The property features a cozy master bedroom along with an additional bed in the attic, which is open without a separate partition—perfect for a casual setup. It’s equipped with essential amenities like a TV, AC, water heater, and basic kitchen items to ensure a comfortable stay. The real highlight, though, is the stunning view that surrounds the cottage, designed by the local host, Mr. Kavi Mainali. This unique design adds a personal touch, making it a wonderful retreat.

Govt id’s – Submitting Id’s are mandatory as per govt rules for all guest’s even if you have submitted the same in airbnb, we too need it for the records.

Food – We have inhouse food menu you can order from that and also kept 1 Nearby Decent restraunts food menu you can order from that too and we will provide free delivery.

NOTE- The cottage is 200 meters or 50/60seconds away from the cottage parking. The property isnot for elderly people or others with knee/leg issue. These are hills please donot except flat proper CC roads everywhere.
From the main road there is 900meters/1km offroad till the cottage parking for which we have 2 option-
1- If you wish you can bring your till the cottage parking. (Our staff will be there to assist).
2- We park your car safetly in our property on the main road area(2km) and provide free shuttle to and fro in our own car.

For Guest’s coming from taxi- Taxi will drop you till the cottage parking .

For Guest’s coming from Public transport- Donot worry we provide free shuttle to and fro till the property and back to the Bhimtal station.

Note- All those families with aged people or anyone who has trouble walking please avoid booking or please text us and gather all details and if you feel its ok than you can book.

Other things to note
We do provide taxi services for pick and drop to the airport or bus stand..!
We do provide scooty for rent.
We do provide Birthday and any special day decoration (chargeable).
